Coffee Is Me Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a California corporation that provides coffee consultancy, live events, online courses, and membership services through this website and related channels.
By accessing or using coffeeis.me, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all users of coffeeis.me, including:

- Customers — individuals or businesses who purchase courses, memberships, event tickets, or consultancy services
- Business clients — companies engaging us for professional consultancy
Use of this site is limited to persons 18 years of age or older.
3. Services We Offer
We provide four categories of services:
Online Courses. Self-paced digital courses delivered through coffeeis.me. Access begins upon payment confirmation. Course content, structure, and delivery format may change over time.
Memberships. Recurring subscription access to content, resources, and community features. Membership tiers, pricing, and included benefits are described on the site and may be updated with reasonable notice.
Live Events. In-person coffee events, workshops, and experiences. Event-specific terms (dates, locations, cancellation policies) are provided at the time of booking and form part of your agreement with us.
Consultancy. Professional coffee consulting services for businesses and individuals. Consultancy engagements are governed by a separate written agreement. These Terms apply in the absence of such an agreement or where they do not conflict with one.
4. Accounts and Registration
Some services require you to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate registration information
- Keeping your password confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account

5. Payments and Fees

Late payments. Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month, or the maximum permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid services until the balance is resolved.
Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable in your jurisdiction.
6. Refund Policy
Online courses. Refund eligibility is stated on the individual course page. Where no refund policy is specified, all sales are final.
Memberships. Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued. Annual memberships are non-refundable after 14 days from the date of purchase.
Live events. Refund and cancellation terms are specified at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events; in such cases, a full refund will be offered.
Consultancy. Governed by your individual engagement agreement.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on coffeeis.me — including text, course materials, videos, audio, graphics, and trademarks — is owned by Coffee Is Me Inc. or licensed to us. It is protected by US and international copyright and intellectual property law.
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content
- Share login credentials or account access with others
- Create derivative works from our content without written permission
- Use our content for commercial training purposes without a separate license
These restrictions apply regardless of the format in which content is delivered.
8. Acceptable Use

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Coffee Is Me Inc.’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnification

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the services that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Marin County, California.
If you are located outside the United States, local mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction may provide you with rights that these Terms cannot override.
17. General
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable engagement agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coffee Is Me Inc. regarding the services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between the parties.
